 PUBLIC NOTICE:
A vacancy currently exists on the Clinchco Town Council. The Mayor and Town Council seek letters of interest from qualified individuals that would like to be considered for the interim appointment since a special election will be called for the seat for November 2025 General Election.

You must be at least 18 years of age, registered to vote, and be a resident of the Town. A strong interest and commitment to public service is essential.
To be considered you should submit your letter of interest to the Town Clerk, Tina Deel on or before 4:00 pm, Monday February 17, 2025, at the Clinchco Town Hall.

Former Clincho Veteran Fred Leonard Holly Sr. passed away over the holidays. A note from his family shared how much the Town of Clinchco meant to him. A few words from his son:

“Born in Clinchco in 1939, he held a deep affection for Clinchco, often reminiscing about his wonderful childhood there. His tales about the town were a source of joy for my sisters and me.”
